Shire Eco Safari Camp offers the following services (prices in US Dollars (USD):

Your choice of a boat safari or game drive

A separate entrance fee is paid to Liwonde National Park upon arrival at the park - USD 30 for international visitors or USD 15 for Malawi residents

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner - all prepared fresh in our restaurant - USD 4 breakfast, USD 8 lunch/dinner

Game viewing within the camp - included for all Shire Eco Safari Camp guests

Astronomy (viewing time varies due to celestial calendar) - included in overnight stays, this is however dependent on prevalent weather and cloud cover.
The following details the various options for overnight accommodations: private chalet, dormitory, or campsite. Discount prices are available for volunteers serving in Malawi. Arrangements can be made for a boat safari or game drive, but do not include Liwonde National Park's entrance fee ( USD 30 for international visitors or USD 15 for Malawi residents), due upon arrival at the park.
Lodging Options
Private chalet that sleeps two (2) with private bathroom & shower
For Single USD 25, Double USD 35 per night
The dormitory at the camp is a 6 bed mixed dorm:
Dormitory - USS 15 /night, per person
Volunteers - USD 10/night, per person
Camping is available on site with full access to amenities - USD 10/night, per person.

Safari Options
Boat and Game Drives can be organized from the camp the day before.
Basic Safari - 2 hours, USD 30 p.p*.
Extended Safari - 3.5 hours, small lunch and drinks included. USD 45 p.p.*
Private Safari - Upto 5 hours, a completely private guided safari. USD 70 p.p.*

*Boat Safaris and Game Drives require a minimum of Three (3) people per trip.
